How to turn JPG photos and scans into one PDF
Combine phone photos, screenshots or scanned pages into a single PDF in the order you choose, ready to email or upload.
· 4 min read
Receipts photographed on a phone, a signed page snapped in a hurry, screenshots for a report: images are easy to make but awkward to send. Most forms and people expect a single PDF. Converting is quick if you get the order and size right.
Convert images to PDF
- Open JPG to PDF and add up to 20 JPG or PNG images.
- Put them in order with the arrows. Each image becomes one page, sized to fit the image.
- Click Process to download a single PDF.

Keep the PDF small enough to email
Phone photos make large PDFs. If the result is too big for email or an upload form, compress the images first with Compress Image, or use Compress Image to Size when you need a guaranteed limit. Then convert.
Tips for readable scans
- Photograph documents in daylight, flat on a table, from straight above.
- Crop away the table and background before converting.
- If a page ends up sideways, fix it afterwards with Rotate PDF.
- Need to add the images to an existing PDF? Convert them first, then use Merge PDF.
Add a watermark such as "COPY" to scanned IDs before sending them, using a two-step workflow.
